The Law No. 37/2024, of August 7, was published, which eliminates toll fees on sections and subsections of highways in the Interior and on roads where no alternatives exist that allow for quality and safe use.
Toll fees charged to users on the sections and subsections of the following highways are eliminated:
a) A4 — Transmontana and Marão Tunnel;
b) A13 and A13-1 — Pinhal Interior;
c) A22 — Algarve;
d) A23 — Beira Interior;

The law enters into force on January 1, 2025.
