The Green Mobility Package – Goods was approved through the Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 134-B/2024.
This resolution promotes the decarbonization and digitalization of goods transportation, based on three strategic pillars:
a. Decarbonization of Goods Transport: Incentives for the purchase of electric freight vehicles and cargo bicycles, with support of up to 6,000 euros per electric vehicle. The measure comes into effect on October 14, 2024.
b. Digitalization of the Sector: Support for the implementation of second-generation digital tachographs, mandatory by December 2024, with financial incentives of up to 500 euros per device.
c. Sustainable Urban Logistics: Launch of two pilot projects for zero-emission urban logistics, supported with up to 250,000 euros each, aimed at improving the efficiency and sustainability of goods deliveries in cities.
The funding to implement these measures will be guaranteed by various funds, with allocations planned for the years 2024 and 2025.

The main actions include:
a. Creation of Circula PT: A transport ticket with a discount of up to 50% for beneficiaries of social support and citizens with disabilities.
b. Green Railway Pass: Priced at 20 euros, accessible for various railway services, including Intercity and regional trains.
c. Expansion of the Free Student Pass: Covers all young people up to 23 years old.
d. Support for the purchase of electric vehicles and the development of smart mobility infrastructures, such as the modernization of ticketing systems and the promotion of cycling lanes.
The funding to implement these measures will be guaranteed by various funds, with allocations planned for the years 2024 and 2025.
