This branch of law covers the organization and functioning of Social Security systems, including the definition of benefits and social allowances, such as unemployment benefits, pensions, maternity and paternity allowances, among others.
Additionally, it regulates the contributions of workers and employers, as well as the duties and responsibilities of public entities responsible for the management and administration of Social Security funds.
