The 2nd edition of this work by Alcides Martins, Annotated Code of Contribution Regimes and Complementary Legislation, is now available.
Given the positive reception of the previous edition, the same structure of legislative acts considered complementary to the Code of Contributory Schemes of the Social Security Welfare System—commonly known as the Contributory Code—has been maintained, while implementing the necessary updates and improvements.
An effort was made to integrate the Code into the broader institutional framework of Social Security, linking its provisions with those of other related legislative acts, particularly those of a procedural nature and those concerning sources of funding. Its connections to tax institutions were also highlighted.
